Sunday
The Liturgy of St. Basil of Caesarea is celebrated at the usual
time.
Wednesday
6:15
pm - Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts
Presanctified starts at 6:45pm, after the regular Jesus Prayer service.
A light supper is served afterward.
Twice a year (Anunciation, and the Feast of St. James) the Liturgy of St. James of Jerusalem is celebrated.
-
For those who wish, the Sacrament of Confession (exomologesis) is celebrated, by private request, before the Liturgy begins.
-
All are welcome to attend and share in the worship. It is the custom not to go up to the chalice to receive communion unless one is a chrismated Orthodox believer who has fasted from the night before. At the end of the liturgy, all visitors are welcome to join in as the antidoron bread is distributed (the bread of Agape, signifying our common fellowship in Christ).
